About Joshua

Joshua is currently seeking representation for his debut young adult novel, The Making of Shea Macmathar. His fiction is driven by passionate, quirky characters. The stories take particular interest in gender and sexuality, religion and myth, and social class. He comes from a long line of storytellers, including his mother, a novelist, and grandmother. Though the latter was never a professional storyteller, by all accounts, she was quite the expert.

He holds degrees from Yale University and Southwestern University.

Originally from Dallas, TX, Joshua currently lives in a small town in Connecticut with his husband and their infant.
